Warhola
You think maybe there’s something in the water down south? The Belgians keep on producing great talent, so it’s really no wonder that some of it eventually ends up all the way up north, like Warhola did. With Warhola – also the birth name of legendary artist Andy Warhol – we’re talking synths, dark bass sounds and sexy, enchanting vocals. Singer, songwriter and musical mastermind Oliver Symons has emerged as one of the foremost Belgian talents in pop music as Bazart’s keyboard player, but mainly with his own project Warhola. With it, he won Humo’s prestigious Rock Rally, debuted with EP Aura and reached the top of the electro pop scene with the singles Jewels and Promise. A must for fans of acts like Oscar and The Wolf, SOHN, Jamie Woon and Chet Faker.
