Cancelled – Torres
Torres is the musical pseudonym of the fairly brilliant Mackenzie Scott from Nashville, Tennessee.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Torres is forced to cancel her show at our festival.
The singer-songwriter produces intriguing indie rock, which we’re absolutely positive you’re gonna like. Due to her emotionally charged voice and raw guitar sound, she’s being hailed as a mix between a young PJ Harvey and Lucinda Williams. Her 2013 debut album received rave reviews. Its follow-up Sprinter has a somewhat more rugged sound and again received positive reviews. Her newest album Three Futures is a bit darker again, with powerful lyrics dragging you along on the waves of Mackenzie’s wondrous imagination. And it’s not just us: her latest album received a very rare 8.1 rating on Pitchfork.
